مفهوم روشن بینی به معنای لغوی آن که روشن دیدن فیزیکی است نمی باشد ، بلکه مقصود درک و شناخت واقعیت ها بدون پرده و اختلاط با اوهام و خرافات و بدون استناد به اصول و سنن پیش ساخته و پرداخته ای است که ارزش واقعیت نشان دهی خود را از دست داده اند . در دوران ما این گونه شناختها را شناخت های روشنفکرانه می نامند . بدون تردید این گونه شناختها کاملا مطلوب و مفید ، بلکه برای حیات فردی و اجتماعی ضرورت قطعی دارند . متاسفانه کسانی که موفق به درک صحیح اینگونه شناختها میشوند ، بسیار اندکند .

روشن‌بینی عبارت است از درک اشیا یا رویدادهایی که برای حس‌های پنجگانه، هیچ‌گونه محرکی که قابل احساس باشد را ارائه نمی‌دهد. روشن‌بینی در زبان فارسی جا افتاده‌است و به معنای واقعی واژهٔ Clair به معنای روشن و Voyance به معنای بینایی و بینش است. به کسی که توانایی روشن‌بینی داشته باشد، clairvoyant می‌گویند، یعنی کسی که روشن و واضح می‌بیند.

كلمه روشن‌بینی به معنی واضح دیدن و به مفهوم قوه ذهنی و بصیرت فوق‌طبیعی، قدرت درك و مشاهده اشیا و افرادی است كه نمی‌توان با كمك حواس عادی آنها را تشخیص داد.
▪ به‌طوركلی دو نوع روشن‌بینی وجود دارد:
۱) نوع اول ارادی كه با یك زندگی پاك و سالم امكان رشد می‌یابد و با آموزش می‌توان به شكلی موثر و مفید مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.
۲) نوع دوم غیرارادی است كه گاه می‌تواند خطرناك باشد. زیرا شخص با هستی و ذات‌های دیگر ملاقات می‌كند و جهان‌های دیگر را می‌بیند و می‌تواند تجارب روحی انسان را قبل از تولد و پس از مرگ و در جهان‌های نادیدنی ببیند. یك روشن‌بین قادر است چیزهایی مثل ارواح را كه با چشم ظاهر نمی‌توان دید و دارای فركانس بالاتری هستند، را ببیند. البته باید متذكر شد كه هر روشن‌بینی با هر نوع سطح آگاهی قادر به دیدن تمامی انواع ارواح نیست و تنها قادر است ارواحی كه از نظر آگاهی با آنها هماهنگ است را ببیند.

یکی از شاخه‌های روشن‌بینی كه در مورد مشاهده گذشته، حال و آینده است «سایكومتری» نام دارد. در این نوع روشن‌بینی، اغلب روشن‌بینان اتفاقات و حوادث بد و غم‌انگیز را مشاهده می‌كنند، مثل دیدن یك سانحه هوایی، دلیل آن این است كه روشن‌بینان عموماً در سطح آگاهی پایینی قرار دارند و از آنجایی كه اتفاقات ناگوار هم از لحاظ ارتعاشی و انرژی در سطح منفی و پایین‌تر آگاهی اتفاق می‌افتند به‌وفور این‌گونه وقایع را درك می‌كنند. شخص روشن‌بین می‌تواند از طریق لمس شی‌ای به تاریخچه آن شی و افرادی كه آن را لمس كرده‌اند. پی ببرد و از گذشته، حال و آینده مالك آن مطلع شود.
در روشن‌بینی به‌طوركلی دو شاخه اصلی وجود دارد یكی فیزیكی و دیگری غیرفیزیكی. تا به‌حال برایتان اتفاق افتاده كه از گوشه چشم‌تان به چیزی نگاه كنید و وقتی صورت‌تان را برگردانید چیزی نیابید. شاید این را خیالات و تصورات خود بپندارید اما باید گفت كه قسمت‌های بیرونی چشم حساس‌تر از قسمت‌های مركزی آن هستند.

My friend, who was living in US, had to come to India for a wedding. As the travel date drew closer, she had clear flashes of vision where she saw the airplane through a lot of turbulence. She saw people crying and praying.

This made her very uncomfortable- more so as the date grew closer. Much against everyone’s logic, she postponed her trip. She later came to know that the same flight that she was to board met with an accident. Her Clairvoyance had saved her life!
