What is noor in Islam?
Nūr (Arabic: النور) is a term in Islamic context referring to the "cold light of the night" or "heatless light" i.e. the light of the moon. This light is used as a symbol for "God's guidance" and "knowledge", a symbol of mercy in contrast to Nar, which refers to the diurnal solar "hot light" i.e. fire.
How to ask Allah for Noor?
O Allah, place within my heart light, and upon my tongue light, and within my ears light, and within my eyes light, and place behind me light, and in front of me light, and above me light, and beneath me light. O Allah, bestow upon me light

Fatema Zahra (S.A) created from Noor (Light)
Sudayr Al-Sarfi from Al-Sadiq, Ja’far ibn Muhammad, from his father, from his grandfather (A.S): The Messenger of God (P.B.U.H&H.P) said:
"The light (Nur) of Fatima (S.A) was created before the creation of the earth and the heaven.
Some of the people said: “Prophet of God, does that mean she’s not a human?”
He (P.B.U.H&H.P) said: "She is human Hawra"
They said:”O Messenger of God how is it possible that she is a human Hawra’?”
He said: “Allah created her from His light before he created Adam when there were only spirits, so when he created Adam she was revealed to Adam”
They said:”O Prophet of God and where was Fatima?”
He said: “She was in a place below the Throne”.
They said:”O Prophet of God what was her food?”
He said: “Glorifying, hailing and praising (Allah). So when Allah (S.W.T) created Adam and brought me from his offspring, Allah wanted to make her from my offspring so he made her an apple in heaven and Gabriel presented her to me saying ”Asalamu alaykum warahmatullah wa barakatahu O Muhammad”, I said ”Wa alaykum asalaam warahmatullah my beloved Gabriel”.
He said:”O Muhammad your Lord sends you his blessings”.
I said: “From him all blessings come and to him do they all return”.
He said: “This apple is a gift to you from Allah from heaven”, so I took it and held it to my chest.
He said:”O Muhammad Allah glorified be He says eat it”.
So I split it and saw a shining light and was taken aback.
He said:”O Muhammad why don’t you eat? Eat it and don’t be afraid, for that light is”AlMansurah” (the aided) in the Heavens and “Fatima” on earth”.
I said: “My beloved Gabriel why is she called AlMansurah in the Heavens and “Fatima” on earth?”.
He said: “She is called Fatima on earth because she saved (fatamat) her Shia from the fire, and because her enemies have not (fatama) loved her. In the heavens she is”AlMansura” because of the words of Allah swt ‘On that day will the believers rejoice, with the aid of Allah, He aids whom he wishes’, meaning the aid of Fatima to her lovers."

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) recommended this dua to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and said that Jibreel (as) came to me and said, "Whoever in the holy month of Ramadhan before iftaar recites this dua, Allah answers his prayer, accepts his prayer and fasting, grants his ten requirements, forgives his sins, removes his grief's, makes his heart at ease, grants his wishes, makes his deeds to ascend upward with the deeds of prophets and righteous saints and on the Day of Judgment brings him to His presence with his face illuminated like a bright moon." Sayyid ibn Tawus and al-Kaf`ami have narrated the following supplication
