Upon reflection after going through a challenging time myself with a bout of doubt, these are the types that came to mind: negative doubt, positive doubt, personal self-doubt, and great doubt.
Typically, doubts fall into one of three categories—intellectual doubt, emotional doubt, and moral doubt—each posing its own unique challenges.

Previous negative experiences, such as failures or criticisms, can leave lasting impressions that fuel self-doubt. Issues related to attachment styles, particularly insecure attachment, can also play a significant role.
A little bit of doubt forces us to expose ourselves to alternatives that can help us be better. It opens doors that we might not have otherwise considered as options previously.

Doubts are often our most excellent motivator that serves as an extraordinary stimulus to creativity. It inspires us to take action.

One who doubts the validity of his/her Wudu while performing it should redo it until he/she is certain of having attained purity. But, if doubt was after having performed Wudu, then he/she should not pay attention to that as doubt after the end of an act of worship does not count.

This is called cognitive distortion and can become a habitual thought pattern that pulls them toward a reluctance to engage in activities.
